Nero Cover Designer is a program that allows users to create covers and labels for Windows PCs.

It's strange when a program goes out of date. There are dozens of different types of software out there that just don't serve much of a purpose any longer, yet they linger on because of a sense of stubbornness and leftover utility. Cover designers compose a segment of that population, being designed for an era when people were constantly burning physical media and needed to show off their cases. Though that era has come to an end, Nero Cover Designer still exists - and it still has a purpose for some users.

While most people don't do much with CD cases any longer, Nero Cover Designer still creates great media covers. The program is designed to work well with standard paper sizes, and you won't have to worry about messing with the margins to get the images just right. If you're not working with physical media any longer, this program still has a place as a label maker. The label templates are very easy to use even if you're not great at making labels, and you can get exactly what you need with only a few minutes of work.

Nero Cover Designer is a program that had much more utility a few years ago. If you still need it for its primary purpose, it's great. If you don't, you can still download the program to get a very strong label maker. As it is, Nero Cover Designer serves as a good reminder that all software eventually becomes obsolete, even if it was designed very well.
